Ok, so I am all about fads and trends...and I do my best to be open-minded but this one is a bit much for me. Not only would I look like a child in floral tights but my thunder thighs would look explosive, making me look 20 lbs heavier. Kudos to those who can pull this look off.

My bags are packed. I'm ready to go...

I may not be leaving on a jetplane, but my Ford Escort will do the trick! I am making the big move to the city on the Sunday! I have worked my butt off all week cleaning, packing and squeezing in every second of my friends that I can. So in T-minus 2 days my new life begins. Wish me luck!

Daddy's Girl

I am definitely a daddy's girl and I am proud of it! My dad and I like hanging out, discussing recipes and tv shows, and playing scrabble. He loves my boyfriend AF and I make sure to talk to him at least once a day. That is why I am trying to think of the perfect present for father's day. The only problem...my lack of funds. I found these super cheesy shorts that you can customize with your own pictures. I think my dad would love them, but on my budget it's just not going to happen. So what do you get the best dad with zero dollars? Who knows!? You tell me.

Things I need for summer...

BCBG MAX AZRIA patterned maxi. Due to my lack of funds obviously I can't afford this one...but show me a cheap patterned maxi with sleeves and I'm sure I could scrounge up a few bones!

A high waisted, strapless bikini. Maybe not this one inparticular...but I like the throwback that this looks gives.

A new pair of work heels. I am looking more for comfort than cool for everyday-wear.

Dream dress crushed.

SO that pink-leopard dress I blogged about a while ago has officially been crushed... I saw Jesse from MTV Canada wearing it. Poo. Oh well..it is so last week..I am so over it anyway.

Wow.

In the past month about a million things have changed for me:

1. I got a new job..more like a career!
2. I am moving to another city.
3. I have lost another 7 lbs.
4. Adam and I have decided not to buy a house yet.
5. I quit this sh*thole of a job..woohooo!
6. I have gone this entire stressful time without eathing McD's or pizza.

I am excited/scared/anxious/nervous/in shock that everything is happening so fast! I just cannot wait to stay with JE and KL while I get settled in!

Fam-Jam-Extravanganza!!

I could not be looking forward to this weekend anymore. Not only do I have the new job to celebrate, but I get to spend time with mine and JE's whole family! When we get together it is a party and a half. And even though we have planned a bbq and the weather doesn't look like it is going to cooperate, we will definitely have the best time!

I love my family.

OOOH EM GEEE!

Wow! I got the job! I could not be more excited! Not only do I get to leave this place...where apparently office staff are hired to move cat-pee covered boxes in the sweltering heat...but I also get the job of my dreams! AND I get to move to TO with my pals JE and KL!

I will have to start packing...which I hate. And I will have to move away from AF for a month. But it will all be worth it in the end. Plus, think of all the lists I need to make now!
